I loved today. WYT didn't pick on me, Social Studies was pretty informative, we got to act like waitresses, school ended at 1.35 and chapel sermon was really good. :)

I've been drowning in work the past few days and there's so much more to be done by this week, raghhhhhhhhh.

But meanwhile, as i was daydreaming while doing my lit essay, i realised how much of a lousy money saver I am. Cos as i stared at an open page of a picture of a Blackbird, fly it suddenly occured to me how long I've been telling myself to get one but haven't done so since. And i think my reason for this is damn lame cos everytime i save up enough money, i don't feel like spending the whole chunk, so bit by bit(makes me feel like im not wasting a lot of money away) I spend it on rubbish things like accesories and clothes and then when the money's all gone I'll suddenly realise that I once had enough for my Blackbird, fly. hahaha I think Im damn lousy.

THEREFOREEE, i have decided that right after I get my CNY money (if i even collect enough) I'll run straight to the shop to get my Blackbird, fly and I'll shut my eyes everytime i pass by a wonderful looking rubbish shop that doesnt sell Blackbird, flys. Meanwhile, I'll make myself look at many many many Blackbird, fly pictures to remind myself of how wonderful they are and how much i want one. TEEHEE.

SWINDLERS.
got swindled so much today i just HAD to blog about it.
Okay it all started when stephanie and I were gunna get our nails done to prepare for prom tomorrow. So anyway, we decided to check out hougang mall and searched for the shop with the best deal. After looking at like 1000 shops, we finally stumbled upon this shop where there were like 3 JC girls doing their nails inside and had really cheap prices so ew thought it shouldnt be THAT bad. summore they had really nice nail art designs so we were damn happy.
then anyway right, when we were choosing our nail art design for like only our thumbs, the woman was like "sorry ah, no time to draw cos my friend ah..." (she didnt even complete her sentence. lawl.) then we were quite sad. so nvm, just do our nails. then when we were choosing our colours, the samples looked so darn nice , so exciting! then when they started painting, ohmygosh it was so horrible. SUPER UNPROFFESIONAL CAN. they didnt even have a proper thingy for us to rest our hands on, just grab our hand and paint. and they missed out so mny parts of the nail and all the layers were uneven. i think even my mom can paint better than that. HAHA. and they weren't even planning to paint top coat for us cos the woman said "dont need top coat lah, the colour is shimmery enough" -.- pay them money then still wanna scrimp on top coat, alamak.
so anyway, we left the shop feeling damn cheated. so we decided to just go buy fake nails and paste them on and made ourselves believe that we just donated money to charity. oh and after buying the fake nails, we decided to buy a nail clipper so we could adjust the size of the fake nails. and while we were doing so, we couldnt find nice and cheap nail clippers so we settle for a damn ex one. then after buying that, we went to another shop and saw them selling 2 for $1. HAHAHA. so annoying right, swindeled again. lawl.
so anyway, we sat under steph's house and did the fake nails. or rather she did hers cos it was more convenient for me to do it at home. THEN RIGHT while we were doing, some random lasy came up and gave us this brochure for this manicure place that had a super duper better deal and looked 10000000 times more proffesional and they even did nail extensions for a reasonable price(steph wanted to do nail extensions but stupid shop at hougang mall didnt do nail extensions and the other shops at hougang mall charged a lot). So that made us feel worse. but nvm, just continue.
then we did steph's nailsreally nicely with all our glue laid in front of us. Oh, did i mention, that before that as we were buying the nails, the shop owner (who was steph's friend) said that the glue that the nails came with were only enough for half so we had to buy the bigger bottle they were selling. So we beleived him and bought, cos the glue that it came with really looked very little. then anyway, when we were finally dont doing steph's nails, we realised there was still a lot more glue left it the bottle the nails came with. so we bought the bigger bottle for nothing. So yes, we were swindeled by steph's own friend. We damn lucky right.
oh well, at least steph's fake nails turned out damn nice in the end. :)
then anyway, by the time i reached home and got ready to go meet dorcas and G and deborah, there obviously wasnt time for me to do my nails so dorcas suggested we just paint them over again and she'd help me. so anyway, we went to sephora and dorcas found me a real nice colour. and OHMYGOSH i painted it myself and it turned out like 50000 times better than the stupid butt ugly manicure i paid for. haha and im not very good at painting nails either so now you can imagine how ugly the manicure actually was. so annoying right. haha but at least now i have nice nails :) summore got like damn nice buffering done by dorcas. i tell you, she's a pro. i think she can make a living out of buffering people's nails. HEHEHE.

okay sorry for this super long and bimbotic post about nails. I just had to let out my frustration abou this whole stupid day. okay i better go sleep now, prom tomorrow! i hope our sway-ness doesnt continue on till tomorrow. haha.

Hello blog. I know this is very random but it's very cool! today while i was shopping with bel and mel (hahaha it rhymes) we received a lot of free food. hahahhaa first, we went to claim our random 'instant win' coupons we got from the MacDonald's monopoly thingy. AND THENN RIGHTTT, when we were gunna collect our free food, a random man came and gave up his coupon. and after that, a random lady came and asked if we ate fish and then placed a fish fillet(like really just the fillet without the burger or tata sauce or whatever) on our table and then walked away. haha how random. We must really look like beggars to them.

Sometimes, when you go all out of your way to care for one's needs and feelings, you start to realise that you're doing so much that you yourself start breaking down. Then, you just stop caring and realise how much better off you are with that load off your shoulders. You start to live life without trying to have much to do with the one whom had been causing you so much pain and burden all that while. But then you start to look like the heartless one because you decide not to care no more. Truth is, you weren't even shown care by the other when you first decided to care for them.

I know i may sound weird and cheena, but i just needed to get my point through. Sometimes people should stop whining about how others behave towards them and start to actually think of whether they have given to the other the respect and care that they themselves demand to have.

Okay the fact that prelims are only 6 days away is freaking my out. Rachel, you are DEAD. oh mama, im so not prepared. I really wish i could freeze time, urgh. Anyway, one entire week of mine was wasted because of the stupid flu bug that i caught (rawr), but im amazed at how so many things have changed after being absent from school for 6 days. Today, was soo interesting. Gg, Bush, Cherie and I melted a snail. Durka cried for the snail. Someone jokingly told miss intan we melted a snail. Miss Intan gave us a super longgg lecture on how we should have cared for the snail's feelings. Miss Intan then made us stand in the field as our punishment and made us write a reflection on how we should have thought of how our actions would affect the snail. She then said she would call up our parents to tell them that we killed a snail and she also said she would show them our reflections.
HAHAHAHA, i think this is the biggest joke of the century. muahahahahhahahaaaa. I tell you, we couldn't stop ourselves from laughing our hearts out when we were being punished. haha, not that we were trying to be rude, we just found the whole situation to be oh so funny. We never knew Miss Intan cared so much for snails.

And i just found out that turns out, she didn't really call our parents. Chey. Haha, when i told my mum about it, she too taught Miss Intan would have been out of her mind if she were to really call our parents. LOL.

Anyway, English oral was quite scary. But the indian man wasn't scary like everyone said he was, he was actually quite nice :) Oh and i totally screwed up at one pont by saying "lah" at the end of the sentence. HAHA. when i realised i said it, i was like "omg" to myself and i think i made a face and the indian man saw and he smiled. OH MAMA, I think i lost marks through that :O. Oh well, it's over so let's just hope for the best.

Well, the first week of school was tiring. Im not used to the hectic timetables yet. Almost everyday i would return home and fall onto my bed and end up sleeping my whole afternoon away. heh. But at least I've managed to get work done at night. :D This first week of lessons has been a little boring too, but at least I have the most awesome retarded people in the world to share it with. My Sis thought she was a superhero and came back with injuries all over. So today my house was flooded with ah bengs who came to visit my sis. First day of school was not that nice. I had a huge problem dragging myself out of bed. It was the first day and alr we had so many boring lessons. Though i think math was good cos we got to exercise our brains a whole lot :). and PE was hilarious. We played soccer and at the beginning, we were all screaming and screaming but the ball was going no where, hahahaha. But anyway, all the other lessons were boring.

So Michael Jackson died yesterday. Farrah Faucett died too. All the stars are dying, heh.

So anyway, i was very curious as to why everyone was making such a huge deal bout michael jackson dying and no one seemed to be making T-shirts in memory of Farrah Faucett. So I went and looked up a little on Michael Jackson (cos i didn't really know a thing about him) and i realised that he's actually pretty cool B-), I think I'm becoming a fan for his. Haha, it's a pity i only realised how cool he is after he died. Oh well...

YAY this week i had a day to catch up with those two. YAY, it has been ages since we last had time to catch up with each other. It's a pity Ka Wai isn't in Singapore to join us :(.

Meanwhile, plurk is annoying me. Okay not plurk, just the karma. Karma is so hard to take care of, I don't like it. My karma has dropped quite alot, by like three point something and that's just because i couldn't plurk the whole of yesterday afternoon. TODAY =

INSANITY.

Morning started off crazy, I woke up at 7.16 and had like 14 minutes to get ready and run to school. I reached school looking like a siao zha bor with messy hair and eyes half-shut. wahaha, everyone was like, "oh my goodness Rachel, what happened to you?!"

This is after durka tried to make my hair look nice and neat, but i still look crazy. muahaha.

So then we collected our results, look at Gladys Simalingaling waiting patiently for her turn to collect her paper. waha, funny.

And she finally receives it, YAY :D.

So we passed and that improved our mood and we slowly became crazy as time went by, we began cam-whoring like nobody's business.

Note: Andrew Bisante looks so much better than Christiano ronaldo even in pictures of pictures. muahahhaa.

WO MEN HEN COOL WORHZXZX

AHHAHAHA, look at our coolio multi-coloured finger nails. You probably think we're insane. haha. We played with testers at sephora and walked around with those nails for the rest of the weekend. See, this is prove that exams drive people insane.

HAHA, but i had soo much fun this weekend. I think it was a very good 3 days of relieving stress.

Oh, and I've finally found myself a new water bottle :D. YAY, i am so happy, i've been hunting for so long. I was a little disappointed i couldn't get my green one from kiddy palace(stop laughing at me cuz i go to kiddy palace to look for bottles), but i found a much nicer one :D. Now im glad i couldn't find my kiddy palace one. hoho :D.

oh and on friday after school when bel and i were eating lunch, we saw the soon li guy from fighting spiders. haha, i love that show, I think for once channel five actually has an original show that is actually entertaining unlike the boring old stuff they usually come up with.

Today was weird. Like on moment we would be having so much fun laughing at the china man in the chinese show lin lao shi shouwed us today and the nex moment we would be bored to death during lit. Then after that we would get all excited again when miss intan lets us watch wild child during live lesson and the next moment we would get so annoyed at MRS JUJU barging in and requesting to stop the movie to let us check our marks. Then we would be happy again to go for lunch and then annoyed later by Deepa giving us a lonngggggggg lecture about how disapoointed she in in our results. -.-. i dislike school.

Okay anyway, I have important news!!!! MRS RONALDO HAS ADMITTED DEFEAT!!!! MUAHAHAHAHHAA. She goes, "wth fine la I'll Just admire CRISTIANO RONALDO ON my own", when everyone agrees with me that Andrew Bisante looks cooler and has nicer eyes than Christiano ROnaldo. whahahaaa. HURRAY! Exams are overrrr! weehoooo! I can finally take a break :DD. Thus, today was spent shopping, eating and wasting time by watching funny big bang parody videos, trading ingredients in restaurant city to make new recipes and setting new records in random games on facebook. Oh, and arguing with Durka about how Andrew Bisante is better looking than Christiano Ronaldo. hahaha, see this is how you waste time.
Today my best girls and I went for some shihlin chicken :D hurrah. Though Jen is alr getting sian of it and turning to ice-cream instead... hahahha. We planned to shop a lot more than we actually did but didn't have enough time, but at least we had good food :). and that brenda seah, tsk tsk tsk. We decided to go home and wait for brenda and fish and all to end school, so we waited at home for some two hours and then they pangsei-ed us. Punatats. hahaha, but nvm at least we still got to enjoy ourselves :) I tell you, we ate so much, i think i can skip all my meals for the next week. hahaha.

Okay for those of you who don't understand, the game starts off with each person with a stack of papers and they write on the first piece any random sentence they want. Then they pass it on and the following person draws out what you've written, Then the following person would have to write what he thinks the previous person was trying to draw, and so on and so forth. Then finally, you will receive your stack of papers back and see how much your sentence has changed. hahaha, so here's mine. You can see some others at Kezia's blog, it's hilarious.

But who cares, at least i passed and don't have to reluctantly do it again, hohoho! Alright I sound like some unhealthy little girl who hates running. Enough of this, let me tell you about my chinese prelim oral. It was crap. hahahhahaha. It all started off with a whole lot of confusion, when Deeksha and I were sitting patiently for our names to be called to go to our examiners, while all our classmates were already brought to theirs. Then we went hunting everywhere to find out who our examiner was and none of them said they were taking us, so we anyhow went to sit at some group. I think they anyhow left us out thinking we were tamil girls or something, after all we are the only two girls in our chinese class who have indian names in the register. wahahaha. So anyway we searched everywhere and none of the examiners said they were taking us, so we anyhow went to sit in some group, quite retarded. Okay anyway, I screwed the whole oral, the teacher was staring blankly at my face trying to figure out what i was trying to say, in fact i had no idea myself. haha. My chinese is so rotten, I think lin lao shi is gonna throw me to CLB. haha.

Ohh and let me tell you, I LOVE INDIAN FOOD! i think indian food is the best kind of food in the world! Yay i love it when my parents suddenly feel like bringing me to eat indian food. I am so glad my dad's indian or i may never have got to ever taste the wonderfulness of komala's. yippee hurrah! one day I'll steal all the indian recipes ever created on the face of the earth. hohoho.

I was watching big bang's haru haru mv and i found it damn funny and started laughing at it cuz i thought the guys looked so funny with overly thick eyeliners and weirdo actions, plus i could hardly understand any of it since it's in korean.
but after watching it over and over again to figure out why Gg is so crazy about it, I've finally figured it out and I think I'm crazy about it too! hohoho! It's so sad lah, oh mama. Okay whatever, you must be thinking how dumb I must be right now. HAHAHAHA. if only you could see the whole conversation we had, it was damn funny.

Okay anyway today was funny, retarded and tiring. After church and a bit of studying at the library, Nichola and I headed down to east coast for the barbecue with the Thai kids and we were damn retarded while doing so. When we arrived at parkway, we didn't know which direction to walk in so we anyhow walk here walk there till we finally found an underpass, so we happily made our way into ecp at around 3.30 or so. Then! we realised we were at pit 12 (or somewhere around there) and had to walk all the way to pit 66, zomg. So we walked and walked till we decided to rent rollerblades. so we bladed and bladed for like ever and ever till we reached the pit at like 5. hahahahha. And we were supposed to return the rollerblades by 5.45, which would mean that we had to leave right away. So dumb right, luckily a kind soul from arpc offered to drive us to return the blades. And i tell you, a stupid man almost ran me over while trying to fight for the parking lot that i was helping the kind soul to reserve while he sent nichola back to the bike shop. Stupid man. hahahahha.
But but but, i think we had a fun time and lots of exercise cos of all that rollerblading. haha. and the Thai kids are still ever so cute and funny. They swimming all around in the sea and ceasing every opportunity they could get to splash buckets of water on people, hahaha.
And the going home part was funny too, but im too lazy to blog about it and i need to get my work done. so byebye humans. I'll post pics when i get them.

Yay Easter!(: I think this was one of the most fun and retarded dramas I've acted in, since like the mas salami one. Who knew being superheroes and doing retarded actions on stage with a sticky drawn on facemask on your face could be so much fun! hahahahha. I think i had a great time last night, and besides the drama and all, parrot meishain and linny managed to come, hurrah! and they sure enjoyed themselves too :). YAY!

Lunch with chrystal today was nice. Gladys and I were being all retardedly stressed rushing off from church to go buy a fabric marker to go decorate the presents while the rest stalled chrystal. haha, i tell you, you should have seen us panicking, i think we looked damn funny.Oh and i think that picture above is very nice, yay i like it (: hohoho.

Okay let's not talk about studies, that's such a gross topic. Anyway, yesterday Cherie got herself into funny trouble yet again! HAHAHA, Cherie never fails to make everyone laugh their heads off unintentionally. Okay here goes:

Okay anyway, today I realised how weird some of my juniors are, like seriously. I was kinda creeped out by them. Hahaha, it's true what they say, as new batches enter our school, they get weirder and weirder. I was so scared being in a group full of juniors today, it's so scary observing them. Oh well, at least I got a friendly group :) I know Shan had a super sad time being bossed around by the juniors, hahaha.

After all that hallabloo, Dorcas and I watched Shan and Bush go violent with each other. I tell you, those two are HILARIOUS. It's amazing how they find so much fun out of hurting each other.

And yesterday, yet another person injured her ankle while doing the shuttle run, at the same spot I sprained mine. Just that this time, she didn't just sprain her foot, she factured it, ahh. But Jiayou Durka! Don't fret too much about it, before you know it, you'll be out of your wheelchair and back to normal! I'll b keeping you in my prayers yeah :)

Oh you know what, today i was accidentally called "Deeksha". Wow do you know how honoured I felt being accidentally called the tallest girl in the class?! hahaha. Okay I'm such full of crap.
